After my bachelor's degree in Science and Technology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, I obtained my master's degree in Neuroscience at the Instituto do Cérebro under the supervision of Prof. Adriano Tort. During my master's degree I develop open-source technology for place cell recording in rats. Specifically, I developed a 3D printed microdrive of movable tetrodes, which has been successfully used for place cell recordings in the hippocampus. Additionally, I also investigated the electrophysiological activity of the rat hippocampus in different speed protocols using a treadmill and a linear track. In 2018 I started my PhD in the Memory Dynamics Lab under the guidance of Prof. Battaglia and Prof. Genzel, funded by M-GATE project.
